I think that people often misinterpret what others are saying. Especially

online. It is hard to know what a person really means when you can't see the

emotion behind the words. I don't think that you were trying to offend

anyone. I am sorry that you feel offended. I like having you as part of this

group!

Hey...I just thought of something that may shed some light on some things. I

spend a lot of time online, and I am EXTREMELY particular about what pictures

of me are " published " or sent out. It has to show me at my best, or I am

extremely self-conscious about it. For a long time, I would send out this

picture of me that had people commenting that I was so beautiful, and I would

always laugh because for every one picture like that, there was always 100 on

the cutting room floor, so to speak.

So maybe TQ took 20 pictures and sent in the one that she felt she looked the

best in for the one to be put on display. Unfortunately, we can't be that

choosy when it comes to video because there are other people we have to

consider. For example, I can't want my family's Christmas videos because I

absolutely hate seeing myself in them.

Does that make sense? I feel like I'm rambling a bit! LOL

totally human nature to pick what we feel is the most attractive shot to

share and let's face it just as text doesn't reflect exactly what a living

person is saying or thinking, a still shot doesn't reflect how the living

human being looks either

neither does a video if the person is self-conscious of the video for that

matter

who enjoys candid shots the most whether still or video

I will admit Barb that in my eyes (just mine) I feel that this is your house

and we are all visitors who just don't EVER want to leave because of your

hospitality. Keep talking to us... especially me because I have come to need

ya. :)

Geez----this was not what I intended at all!!! I simply thought there

was a misunderstanding on the times and dates of the pictures and

videos---its really NOT that big of a deal! Bolinda, you didnt offend

me at all and I didnt mean to offend you but obviously I did. I

appreciate everyone's opinion in this e group and thought I could give

my point of view also. I really am not even disagreeing with you, just

thought I was clearing up a time/date issue. In fact your original post

was asking what everyone thought about it!

Please dont ask me to calm down about it, I'm not that worked up and

really wouldn't want to waste that much time worrying about someone

else's " extra skin " or lack there of----I have enough of my own to

worry about!!! LOL

ok, I REALLY wanted to drop this subject and I will probably end up

regreting that I am responding again but here it goes......

I was not in the slightest offended by your statements Bolinda, but

like I said in your first post you asked what we thought about the

pictures and this is what I thought. end of story. It's kind of a silly

subject anyway.

Sandy, you mentioned above that this sort of thing happens in a group

and its not one of Human race's better traits.......I just thought I

was responding to a post I certainly wasnt trying to make it an issue.

It was a subject being discussed and I contributed. So on that note I

want you to know that I absolutley LOVE reading this egroup and all

the opinions that go with it, but I think I will stick to reading only!

Actually it's typically 'human'. Any time you put a group of people

together and they form a community of sorts, this will invariably happen

occasionally. Not one of the human race's better traits, I'll grant you;

but it happens in real life, and it happens on the internet.

And we'll all move on.
