i eat absolutely no grains, and only the occasional bannanna or strawberry.

my diet consists primarily of raw vegetable juice, raw beef, raw chicken,

raw fish, raw eggs, raw cream, raw milk, raw honey, avocados, and flax oil.

my stool is actually better than when i ate primarily fibrous foods

,

I'm just curious, but could you give examples of how you eat raw

chicken and beef? Do you freeze it first?

Thanks,

Hi All,

" guar gum. (3 calories per gram....

One Lb of guar gum costs $5.00.....

Actual calories may truly be less, since the gum is 100% soluble fiber. "

I would be interested in hearing from

others on the CRON diet how

they manage to consume the recommended

60 grams of fiber daily while

keeping calorie intake low. Dried

prunes are the fruit with the

highest proportion of fiber compared

to the calories it contains (5.7

grams for 147 calories). I would have

to consume 1547 calories in

prunes just to reach 60 grams of

fiber. The only practical way in

which 60 grams a day can be reached

that I know of is to eat large

amounts of wheat bran (44.5 grams for

188 calories). However that

doesn't give me any soluble fibers.
