Hi

Amy,

Only the

Speech Specialist at school that is part of the Child Study Team.

When she

was about 4 years old I did have her evaluated by O.T. & Speech at duPont

Children’s Hospital in Delaware & their findings where that she was age appropriate. It seems

that they where mistaken.

Do you

know how I can find a good Speech Pathologist in the Philadelphia-New Jersey

area?

I will

look into the group that you suggested.

I am so

over whelmed by it all. I just met with the Team on Friday & I have been

upset & crying on & off since.

I am not

ready to dismiss any of her issues. I have been fighting for her for 6 years

& I will continue to do so.

Please see

my recent very long post to the group owner W in reference to my dd’s

issues & some of the findings by the Child Study Team.

Thank

you so much Amy & if you can think of anything else that may be helpful please

email me directly at yvette.yta@...

..

Once

again thank you to the group for their patience with the off topic posts.

Yvette

Juice with

Fibre

I started my dd back on the juice with fibre (fiber)

product that

comes in the juice boxes. Each box has 10 grams of fiber (acacia gum

fiber). Anyway, it definitely helps her stools stay more normal

looking. I'm hoping to get her to drink enough of that per day, along

with other liquid like water, to see if it will help her become

regular. But it definitely hasn't been " pellets " since we've started

this again, which is nice.

I also was able to teach her to swallow small size capsules, and so I

put the oxypowder into those, and then she can swallow them

individually, in water mixed with a little lemon, like the bottle

says. One capsule of oxypowder fits into three small capsules.

I'll post again on how she is doing in the near future.

W
