I'm not sure how the physician chrgs are handled. on would be

able to answer that ( I think). Let me know if she cannot answer, then I

will do some inquiries.....Also, what is the patient's name? We are now

certified with T19 for Liver transplants, maybe this patient is

approved.....

I have received a bill for physician services for a pre liver Medicaid

patient. Am I correct that only hospital services are placed on the

cost report and not professional charges?

Physician fees for evaluation services for non-renal recipients are the

financial responsibility of the patient or the patient's payer not the

transplant center.
