Guest guest
There are swimmers at Steve's site. 48 " waist, and I don't care to weigh myself. By height and waist I am defined as obese at AOM. However for those that know me, I am a tiger in the pool. I am in the and e Trail. Can't wait to meet my cousins, the cougars. I think my grade school history taught me there were mountain ranges on this trail. I did not buy my canoe for the trip so I have to swim all the way. Changed my swim style from front crawl to breast stroke to fit into AOM's category. Usually swim 1,000 to 1,100 meters in 40 to 45 minutes, but now I am doing breast stroke in total minutes. Fri=45, sat=1,sun=30,mon=42. I decided to deviate from my original goal which was to be swimming 1,200 meters front crawl in 45 to 50 minutes by May 31st,2006. That would be 50 lenghts of the pool in less than 60 seconds per lenght. Breast stroke forces me to use different muscles so I have some adjustment to overcome, and it's easier going, so I have to add on lengths to complete the time requirement which is 45 minutes for April. My test will be on May 12th when I complete the and trail for May 11th. I will test my progress against the old goal before I changed to AOM's method of counting. I figure that on May 12th I should be able to do 50 lenghts of the pool (1,200 meters) and in between 45 and 50 minutes. If not then I will have about 18 days left in May to reach my old goal if AOM's method did not work. This thinking will allow me to blame somthing else for not reaching my goal set back in December 2005. I am even worse with calories. - chuckle, chuckle.
