Guest guest
Dear Chetan, I would prefer to have the samosa and kesar milk at " Goras " instead, courtesy Dr. Shah, provided " Goras " still exists! Or maybe you could take us all out to Burger King, or better still Long Silver? Ravin '
Guest guest
Dear Dr. Ravin, It will be my pleasure to treat you. After having a taste at Subways, Burger Kings, Macs, Taco Bells, Pizza huts and Papa s I still miss the MMs Cut chai cut Poha and cut samosa. And I agree totally that the Goras Bhandar has a goras pak that cannot match the Pancakes or cookies of any famed stores. I still have relish the Poha recepie that you gave us long time back. How about butter chicken?? During our times we had Hotel Gulshan that served excellent Butter chicken. How I miss that!!!!!!!!!!! Lets have a fresh round of cusines from different places. Dear Dr.Shah how about Vaishali at FC road???? Have a nice time!!!! Guest guest
Dear Sadhana Maam, Full points to you. I am form Pune. Most of my seniors know this. During the Introduction(ragging) phase at the boys hostel I used to sing a Powada, a few lines of which I remembered at that time. It goes Shahar Punyachi nirali dharti, Bhanghya Patrya Jelbya Maruti Bayka karatat Vishnuchi bhakti Gavabaher geli Parvati Ho Ho Ho Ho Shahar punyachi nirali dharti Tilak roadla japuun jaave nahitar basel vahanacha dhakka thet dharava sassoncha rasta tethe operation kartat lay sasta Dada ra dada ra I hope most of them get the meaning. I think Dr.Shah will have a few more things to add.Looking forward to it. Chetan'95 batch --- sadbose wrote: --------------------------------- Hi Chetan, Are you from Pune? Guest guest
Dear Dr.Ravin, Your line " I have a nice butter chicken recipe ... " is enough to make me loose my PATIENCE. Everyone on the group has planned to have a special treat this weekend. Cheers Chetan --- ravindas wrote: --------------------------------- Dear Chetan, If you are interested I have a very nice butter chicken recipe... let me know I will put it down. But that can't be done on microwave, you need an OTG and gas-stove and some PATIENCE. Ravin '
