I haven't heard about it being carcinogenic, but I

rarely use black or white pepper because it seems to

disagree with me. My husband loves it, though, and

puts it on almost everything, so if anyone does know

something please speak up.

There is a component in pepper called safrole and large amts injected

in laboratory animals triggered cancerous growths. I did a search on

Drweil.com and came up with that.
