Guest guest
I know nothing about CLASS since I just moved here from Washington state. But as far as calming down hyperactivity, my son's DAN! doctor (Dr. Jepson at Thoughtful House) has tried him on GABA and 5HTP - both natural supplements you can buy at places like Vitamin Shoppe. For my son, GABA only works for keeping him asleep at night (he used to have night waking 2-3 times per week), and 5HTP didn't do anything. But it's worth a try before going the medication route. Dr. Jepson now has my son starting on Clonidine, which he says helps with aggression, calming, hyperactivity, and OCD behaviors. We're starting it tomorrow. Good luck! - > > After over 8 years on the waiting list, my son will finally be getting CLASS > services. I was wondering if anyone else on this list is also on the CLASS > program in Austin?
