Hi Ginger,

I don't know about the possibility of having a csf leak. But I do have

another perspective for you.

Keep in mind that a low pressure headache is caused by low intracranial

pressure (ICP). Your overall ICP has more than one contributing factor: CSF,

blood, tissue.

Low CSF pressure can contribute to low ICP - and thereby cause a low pressure

headache. Likewise, low venous pressure can contribute to low ICP and cause a

low pressure headache.

fyi, venous pressure (aka Central Venous Pressure) refers to the pressure of

the venous sinuses in your head.

You've got both, input and output, to the venous sinuses. If the

decompression surgery relieved pressure on the output (vein) but not the input

(artery), you'd have low venous pressure. Does this make sense?

Also, caffeine...that's an interesting topic we've discussed on the board

before. Notice how some people say it makes them feel great while others say it

makes them feel awful. I've got a theory on that but it's too long to get into

here.

That's about where my knowledge ends. This is all guesswork on my part - I

have a general idea of how this works but it's complicated. So if anyone else

has input....
