Guest guest
I get the National post and have been doing my best to keep updated on Steve. It was Saturdays that got me thinking. when he said " I think the aim of all human existence is Happiness. Any effort in your life that is not directed towards your happiness and the happiness of the people around you is just wasted time " This comment has been ringing in my head for days.I am a mother of 5 boys(21-10). I was married for 21 years and I am now with a different partener.I HAD breast cancer. I now take chemo BY CHOICE to help. Many of my friends and family have a hard time with it all. What they see me go through. only a handful understand that this is a choice thing. It has also given me a new outlook on life. MY LIFE....is exactly that " Mine. " I am the one who is responcible for creating my own happiness. I found these words Steve said very rewarding. I printed them out in large letters. and read these words many times a day. I live life ONE STEP AT A TIME! Keep up the great job Steve. Your journey started out to loss weight...and turned into a spiritual one which is even better for you. We all could learn from this.....we just have to listen and learn....One Step at A Time
