I would actually suggest that this mom have a hair test from DDI, but

not until a few months after she's done breastfeeding, so as to get a

more accurate test. It sounds like she might benefit from the info

it could provide.

In the meantime, it maybe that her adrenals are shot. If that is the

case, I would suggest Adrenal Cortex supplement, along with a B100

and a couple grams of C divided up into 4 doses a day. To give you

an idea, my son who weighed around 40 pounds at the time needed 750

mgs of AC a day. Tyrosine can also help some people with anxiety.

I'd also supplement with a very good source of omega 3's. I'd also

increase magnesium, maybe to quite high levels, as people can be very

low in it. She may be esp low in lots of stuff since she just had

the baby. The two you suggest below may also be helpful. Some

people have anxiety related to blood sugar lows. Does she eat small,

frequent meals with protein? Also, chromium and vanadium can help

with blood sugar regulation.

She is smart to worry that it will impact her baby. Sadly, we pass

the same crap on that made us sick in the first place: toxicities,

nutritional deficiencies, fragilities, etc.
