Visible signs of reflux or oesophagitis?

I've done a (very) little research into reflux and oesophagitis.

I was supposed to mention it at the rather unsuccessful gastro visit

the other week, but the entire visit was so stressful that I clean

forgot. So instead we only talked about IBD, which I fear now was a

real mistake.

The only symptoms I know of are that are applicable to my son are that

his stomach appears bloated and that he complains of his tummy hurting

most days. I assume those symptoms are applicable to many more

conditions than reflux / oesophagitis though.

I know there are list members quite knowledgable about this issue, so

please could anyone tell me whether those symptoms are relevant, and

whether there is anything else that might give a clue.

I noticed another post detailing flat and wide stools. This also

appears to happen with Joe more recently.
