Hi, Keven here.

Today Phyllis and I took to Primary Childrens' Hospital

in Salt Lake City, Utah for surgery. got a food tube and

a Nissen ring (not sure of spelling -- but a ring on her esof...

(lower throat) to keep the food to stay down.

(Even spell checkers can't help when I can't get enough of the

word out.)

Surgery went well. We got there by 9am. They took her at 11am.

Surgery took 1 hour, recovery 45 min. We met her again as they took

her to her room (~~12:45).

Oh yea, is 3 1/2 yrs. 34 inches, ~~ 20 lbs. Sorry, I didn't

follow her stats as they weighed her.

She and Phyllis are doing well as expected. Its really sad to see

laura wake up from the pain killers and cry. She left us with smiles

and full of trust. Now she comes back and is frightened, in pain,

and you can see it in her eyes.

This young, I know she will forget it, but it can sure get to the

parents.

Well, this is just an update. They said 4-5 days at hospital. I suspect

after this first night, Phyllis will wish for a motel room. The small

couch provided won't give her a good night rest.

Family is doing fine. Other kids are in school now so I don't half to

worry about (much) there care.

Keven
