They are a real strong group and I think we need to join efforts. They are focusin on adult needs too. Winters Public Hearing Room, 701 West 51st Street, Austin, Texas to solicit stakeholder input for the agency’s 2012-2013 Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR). A draft LAR is expected by mid-summer. Stakeholders will have additional opportunities to influence the development of the DADS LAR as this process proceeds. Plans are underway for additional hearings via video conference across the state scheduled for 3:00 pm on April 28, 2010. The following are the hosting sites: San – 11307 Roszell Street – Room 2001 At the public hearings, if you have a proposed solution to offer, please provide at the hearing the details of your recommendation. Describe the impact that you hope to see from the implementation of your recommendation. Do not worry about specific costs— DADS will develop these later. However, if you have an idea of the general cost involved, feel free to provide that information. You do not need to specify which Goal, Objective or Strategy corresponds to your recommendation. However, if you have an idea of where the request might fit into the DADS budget structure, feel free to provide that information Note: Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting, and who will need auxiliary aids or services are asked to call the Center for Consumer and External Affairs at , three (3) business days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
