Hi:

I've been taking Miralax daily for five years for gi dysmotility (mitochondrial

and

dysautonomia).

I took two doses on Sunday and by Monday afternoon was developing hives on my

upper

abdomen.

Has anyone else had no problems with Miralax and then suddenly developed hives

years later

in the abdomenal area? Would love to know. Best, B

My son got hives from miralax when it spilled on his hand, but I never

noticed anything like what you describe. Was your usual dose " two

doses " per day or are you usually at one dose per day, i.e. are you

saying that on Sunday you took a larger than usual dose? If so, maybe

that had something to do with it?

Did the hives go away that day, and did you continue to take a dose on

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, and did the hives get worse or did

they stay away?

Is this the first time you took 2 doses? Are you sure it was from the

Miralax? I know my son gets hives when his gi is backed up and then

clears up when things are cleared out. Jennie<><
