Guest guest
My understanding is that skin tags are caused by Human Papilloma Virus. This is the same virus that causes warts and can develop into cervical cancer. In the absence of a fully functional immune system the human body succumbs to various organisms that feed on us. I have used DMSO and Colloidal Silver to eliminate moles and skin tags. I have also used fresh urine. In both treatments it is best to compress the area, that is keep it wetted under a cloth or gauze, 24 / 7. Some moles get larger and even bleed before they are killed off and pushed out by healthy tissue. Some people become concerned when they see this change and may stop. Or it makes them increase their efforts. I have seen a very suspicious looking mole in my husband's ear go through this. He did get better about treating it when it got to the large and ugly stage. Then it just fell out rather suddenly, after a long period of slow change during which he was only treating on the weekends or when he thought about it. Guest guest
I use 50% DMSO and 50% 10 ppm CS. But if you are sensitive to DMSO like my husband, you might only want to go with 30% DMSO and 70% CS. Not sure what the optimum ratio is. The main thing it is to keep the solution on there as much as possible. I have also cut them off after using a topical lidocaine to numb the area. They bleed a lot but I felt no pain, even without the numbing agent I don't think they have nerves in them. I have heard of removing them with a thread tied around them to choke them off. An ice cube would numb the area, remember when girls would pierce ears with ice, a needle and a cork? The ice was held on until the area was numb. Guest guest
Here is some more info too...deb Skin Tags Why and how skin tags form is not entirely known, but there are correlations with age and obesity. They are more common in people with diabetes mellitus, insulin resistance, carbohydrate sensitivity, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It is estimated that by age 70, up to 59 percent of people have them. A genetic component (causation) is thought to exist. Guest guest
Are you suggesting there is no CAUSE for skin tags? If there is no cause, why do they appear? I don't have any. Why not? Sorry, but there is a CAUSE for every ailment. Just because the Medical Mafia doesn't know the reason why, doesn't mean there is no reason/cause. Barb Re: Re: Skin tags Barb, if you google skin tags you will find they are harmless, can be easily removed, and there is no known cause for them, so relax. It's not like you are hitting your head with a hammer. Maybe you know something new about skin tags and their cause, and if so please tell us. Guest guest
I'm not too familiar with combining DMSO with Colloidal Silver, so forgive my inquiry. When I combine them, there is a heat reaction. Does this mean that it is effective only at this time or will I need to make another combination solution on a " as per need " basis? I'm wanting to make at least a 1 oz. solution to be used over and over but don't know if the reaction is needed each time. Thanks

Guest guest
Thanks for this! I finally decided to get rid of a skin tag that looked to be filled with blood. Couple years ago I tried the choke it with a thread noose, but that didn't work. I had an old can of sports freeze spray for sprains, so I frosted it with that and cut it off with small scissors. No pain, little bleeding, shoulda done it years ago. Thanks again! Guest guest
Hi Chuck, Many years ago I had a pappiloma in a very private place. it occasional bled and bothered me quite a bit. I tried the thread noose trick after having seen steers lose their testicles with a similar noose ( a tight rubber band). Since my "wart" was small I thought the thread noose would do the trick. It fell off after a couple of weeks and I thought "OK, how cool a trick" I'm so smart! A couple of months later they started sprouting up like an asparagus patch. Did I ever run fast to the dermatologist. He froze them all with liquid nitrogen and was I ever happy to see the end of them. Never again did I try the thread noose. Lesson learned. Guest guest
While I've never heard of formal studies, skin tags are said to be indicative of present or future blood sugar problems----a precursor of diabetes. My ex husband developed many skin tags back in the 80s; he was dxed with Type II diabetes in the mid to late 90s. I've gotten several skin tags, and they're on my neck (I'm a life long sugar addict---constantly battling it). Since cinnamon is the latest substance to be hailed as fantastic for lowering blood sugar, I did an experiment. I took a drop of cinnamon essential oil (aromatherapy product, probably at many health food stores), and dabbed it on a skin tag for several days. Within a short time it shriveled up and disappeared. If you search this list's archives I think you will also find that others have used DMSO, diluted with colloidal silver, and have had success with eliminating skin tags. Sharon M > Hi All..I have a question about skin tags, moles and warts. My wife has alot of skin tags on one side of her neck and is getting more and we were wondering if anyone has a way to remove these using natural methods? I have used 35% peroxide to remove what looks like liver spots but this doesn't seem to be working with skin tags. I found this site http://www.molewartremoval.com/c/index.html that the guy has a book that tell how to remove them but I didn't want to spend $30.00 on another book. No I am not cheap but just tired of wasting money. Does anyone have a good way to remove skin tags? If I can find what causes them then we can correct that if it is diet related or if they are caused from certain foods then we can stop eating that food. You figure that if someone has a way to help people that they would want to pass that information along to help others without charging them but I guess greed enters into the picture. That would be like me saying I can cure your cancer but it will cost you $500000.00 dollars. Any info on this? Has anyone used this with DSMO or is this not rocemmended? I was concerned the day my oldest daughter got a planter wart, took her to the doc he froze the wart with liquid nitrogen, after few visits it was gone. what a pain all those trips to the doc. I got myself some air cans from computer shops to blow away dust from keyboards and camera lenses. turn it upside down and shot some in a styrofoam cup , you will get a bit of liquid that is were cold at -40F or so. with a cotton swab , Q Tips in my area, I pick up some liquid and apply it to any wart we get and it falls off after a few days of being frozen. they are some methods on the web obout getting rid of wart and that one is my creation , I have not read it anywhere Re: Skin Tags > Hi All..I have a question about skin tags, moles and warts. Guest guest
I use DMSO and CS. Works on skin tags and moles, and keratoses. Some you have to keep after. Compressing 24/7 is the fastest, but I have removed many with regular daily or every other day topical application of 30% DMSO diluted with 10 PPM CS. All the moles, skin tags and keratoses I have removed from my husband and myself have not come back. Some looked irregular in shape and bled before falling off. They can look much bigger and nastier just before they fall off. I think this may be because it is being pushed up and out of the skin by new skin cells growing in underneath.
