Guest guest
Yes I agree, but I would definitely found the money for this one, unfortunately it's often a case of trying to cherry pick that which seems most useful as there isn't much out there that is within budget and worth having. For myself I would have saved some money on hotels as it isn't too far. I also think if the advertising has been geared more towards professionals then there would be less of a take up, cannot imagine anyone who works with my son forking out any kind of money at all. Aaargh I would definitely have gone to this, they said they advertised everywhere, anyway if there is enough interest between now and then it might still go ahead. Guest guest
Well charging £250 to parents who are already in deep trouble trying to solve their children's issues seems extortionate How has that figure been arrived at and how much margin are they intending to make? Do they not care that such a high figure automatically means the majority of needy children would be excluded? > > I just phoned them, they may cancel and wont know till tomorrow > evening due to poor take up. I can't see a price on the info. mcollins2001uk wrote: This is the first I've heard of it and I live in Cambridge and I belong to the local NAS-affiliated group and I get all the local special needs information. No they really haven't advertised it! Guest guest
I spoke to someone in Ireland organising the course. She said 2 days for parents were £250 and one day would be £125.It seems as though the programme concentrates on day 1 on problems of articulation and putting sounds together and day 2 might be more focused on autism, but I could be wrong here.
