Guest guest
, Is it interstitial cystitis? (I had to look up the spelling <G>) - chronic inflammation of the bladder lining arising from an unknown cause - it doesn't show up as an infection. a neurogenic bladder A bladder that doesn't work properly because of a neurological problem. There are an amazing number of muscles that have to work together in the right order to pee. One or all of them can be affected/ We have those with flaccid bladder - nothing works, urine pours out all that time. Things half work - dribbling, or emptying before it is full and gets a signal, or not emptying totally, or some such. And last, but not least, those were everything stays contracted and never lets go - can't pee at all without cathing. and bladder augmentation is?! Not sure - is that the operation where they increase the size of the bladder (augmentation means to enlarge.) I think it is done with a section of large intestine. Or maybe appendix, but I don't think that would be big enough. But I think I remember someone talking about their child having had it done, and a problem with mucus (like you get in your intestines.) in his urine. The only bladder surgery I ever had was reimplantation of the right ureter to stop reflux back to that kidney. Urine is not supposed to flow backwards to your kidney! Also does anyone know what pylenephritis is? Kidney infection -- Life shrinks or expands In proportion to one’s courage. Anais Nin
