Guest guest
I think I was successful with starting my piima culture the other day... I'm wondering because the starter tastes like sour cream, but when I made piima milk, I could not drink it straight without sweetening it. And the longer it sits in the refrigerator, the more of a strong flavor it gets...I cannot drink it now. So, can someone describe to me what piima is supposed to taste like? Mine tastes like slightly sour milk. I guess I was hoping I could drink it plain. Maybe I should try another kind of starter, like villi.... Guest guest
I have not had piima yet, but I have kefir and I can drink that straight or with a little vanilla in it. The villi I would blend up and I would add a little vanilla and honey usually. The kids especially did not like it without some sweetener. I like my kefir the best. Grace, a Augustine I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough ''Hello's " to get you through the final goodbye. --anonymous ----- Original Message ----- From: beckymauldin2001 Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 6:14 AM Subject: piima question I think I was successful with starting my piima culture the other day...
