I needed to hear this about 10 years ago! I have always felt deep guilt for not

cleaning my plate because I know how blessed I am to have that food while others

suffer. I never quite thought of it this way. Now I'll make a commitment to do

something for others each time I leave food on my plate. That way, I'll feel

good that I didn't eat when I wasn't hungry, and I'll feel good that I actually

did something to help another person. Thank you, Barb, for making me think

outside my own boundaries!

Than maybe post the picture on the inside of the fridge.

Having a glass of artificially sweetened ice tea helps too. I know a lot of you

avoid the artificial sweetners...but sometimes they come in handy!!!

What an angel you are. You know , I feel blessed to know people like

you. If the world was filled with s, we would have world peace.

Unless

your evil twin, the office bully who uses roundhouse kicks to beat up good

for nothing punks, surfaces. Then we would have anarchy! LOL I meant to

compliment you on beating up your coworkers. That's right! On behalf of

women everywhere, you drive those beings with the smaller brains out of your

office, to make way for more warrior princesses!

Here is a trick that I use that might help you all out during the holidays.

First of all, I drink lots of water, to give my brain the sensation that I

am

full. But also, if I am going to be around tempting sweets, I eat something

very low in fat that is sweet, beforehand. And I eat enough of it so that I

am sick of sweet things. Then, when I am around a plateful of chocolate

cookies, for instance, they are more of a turn off, and I almost gag just

looking at them. ;o) Sharon

Elena,

My Goodness!! If you would go so far as to search for it, maybe you should

just let yourself have a little piece? Or ban it all together! Like a

restraining order, cake must stay 100 feet away!! LOL!

My husband has learned similar lessons with cake. Even locking it in

his truck doesn't work because I find it. I was always good at find

Christmas presents as a child, too.

Okay, the cat is out of the bag. and I are one and the same.

She is the kind and lovely benevolent and I am her dark side. I

only surface when there is some butt to be kicked. Watch out, I'm

sensing that today some butt will need kicking!

LV, who in reality could never be confused with

Niespodzianski (I can hardly spell that!)

Easy to do since there's so many of us here! I only wish I was the one who took

down one of my office coworkers. My office is my home though, so the only real

coworker I have is my dh. Though I do practice kicks on him once in a while, he

wouldn't appreciate me laying him out. :)

PA (does that help?)
