You CAN have an MRI done while casted..we're going on Friday

The doctor said there is no problem having an MRI while casted. Our son Logan

(he's five, in his first cast since March4) is scheduled to have an MRI done

next Friday. All parties involved (Shriner's Doctor's and the staff at the

hospital where we are having the MRI done) said there is absolutely no problem

doing that! I would check with your doctor and find out the details since every

child is different.
