Guest guest
My OB is the one who said to do this (go on the pill) because I've lost 3 babies to miscarriage, and found out it is because of fibroids. I want to go off because I try to do most things naturally, but if it works in the next few months, I will stick with it. ~Laurie who likes the freedom with hubby the Pill has given us!! what has your OB said about this? > > Barb > who hopes you aren't getting anemic too

Of course, if your dh is abusive, don't think about it too long and do whatever it takes to protect yourself immediately Barb who left first hubby cuz there were no kids involved and I didn't want to waste my life with a man who put me on the bottom rung of his ladder of priorities. It sounds like you are going through a very stressful time right now (thinking about leaving dh). I hope that things work out for you. It sounds like you made the right decision to stop the 21dc if you were overcompensating in calories by depriving yourself. After all, a calorie is a calorie. Try not to think of it as a failure stopping the 21dc, but rather a wise decision based on your own personal needs at this time. I am a firm believer in moderation as opposed to depriving myself of something, because whenever I have done that in the past, it has always backfired and I have just eaten more of whatever it was that I was trying to avoid. Might as well just have eaten a little bit of it to begin with and I would have been better off. Anyway, that's why I didn't join in on this challenge, because there's no way I could have done it. Instead of totally depriving yourself of what it is that you want to eat...try to allow yourself treats every now and then...and really " enjoy " whatever it is you choose to eat. I really love those Almond Reeses Bites, but I found that when I just had them out in a jar, I would eat them by the handful, and before I knew it, half the bag would be gone. At first I thought, " Well, I'm just not going to be able to bring those into the house " , but I found myself craving them really badly. So, what I did was I counted out 18 pieces (one serving) and put them into little ziploc snack size baggies. I did this with the whole bag, so I ended up with a bunch of little baggies. On the front I put a label with the calories, fat and number of points it was for Weight Watchers. Then, I put them in the cupboard. I know this may seem a little crazy to some of you. I mean, why not just count out 18 pieces and not go back for more. Well, what I found was that I was much less likely to open up another little ziploc baggie, as opposed to just going back for another handful. Now, there were days when I do admit to eating two baggies...c'mon nobody's perfect. But, for the most part, it really helped me to sit down with my little baggie and savor each and every one of those little pieces of chocolate. For awhile there, I had to have one little baggie every night. But now, I don't crave them quite as often. Sorry, this is so long, but I just wanted you to know that I understand where you are coming from and to offer you support. I hope that you and your hubby can work things out, but you have to do what is best for you. Remember during this stressful time, try not to use food as comfort. Keep doing tae-bo and keep coming here for support. We'll be here for you. Good Luck, . who realizes she just wrote a book to ....sorry for the rambling!!!
