Guest guest
Penny and all, I called the neurologist today asking if he would prescribe me 5 days of diflucan to see if it would knock out something causing my vertigo, nerve damage and pressure headache, also the jaw and ear pain. This is about seven months of misery now with no diagnosis. He said he felt I would be MUCH sicker if it was candida and said he would only do a spinal tap and run tests for various infections. Should I ask for anything specific or assume he knows what to test for? Also, I plan to call IgeneX tomorrow and see if they will run a borrelia test on the spinal fluid. I see no point in using a routine lab considering that I have never tested positive in a western blot at Quest or Lab Corp and I have been tested several times in the past 15 years. I am positive at IgeneX. Any other suggestions or thoughts? I can use all the help I can get. a Carnes with one big headache
