Guest guest
Hmmm... His Yahoo group is gone (parents united for special ed.). I feel really bad - I put my cousin onto him when she needed help with her youngest daughter. Interestingly, she said he really reminded her of a cousin of ours who is (and this is the nicest description I could think of for him) a pathological liar. He (my cousin) once got an ambulance to drive him across the state of Wyoming to the border of Montana and convinced them to send the bill to my grandmother. Now his story is that he has autism. If he does, he serves as a dire warning of what could happen to our kids without the proper early intervention. (Sorry - a little OT there)... Guest guest
That is exactly the sense I got from his posts here. He just seemed a bit to hyped about advocacy and the injustices etc. Like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory.. " Come on kids.. " The more I'm reading about this guy the more it confirms my first feeling about him and why I never interacted with him. Some are saying he's the real deal and others are saying he is definitely a predator. He could be someone that worked in this area and found that there was an opportunity as long as he hit some of the key points most parents are fed up with . Befriend them, gain the trust etc. - If he is out there reading this post..he can read this " ..your card has been pulled " stacey > > > > > > I remember seeing posts here in this group from this individual . Guest guest
Not entirely true Melody. also has done a number of cases pro bono. Bottom line is this is a GREAT man with a GREAT heart. And one of the best advocates in the country. He is a registered lobbyist. Please check your facts again. And by the way, you don't have to have a DBA to have a company. I know, I own some. You know what is dangerous? Leaving our children to the mercy of the Texas special education system. Regina > > > > > > He actually has another yahoo group, Everyone United 4 > > Disability Reform.
