Guest guest
No, no lunch. I didn't want to add $10,000 to the bill. :-) pennytinknocer@... wrote: In a message dated 10/13/2006 5:21:03 PM Eastern Standard Time, usenethod writes: > I will say, I woke up feeling like I'd been through hell. They'd had a tough time finding my bp before surgery, so I wonder if maybe things didn't go all that smoothly with the anesthesia? And my throat/mouth was really sore, like something had been really jammed down there, and I don't know why that would have been the case. I also had difficulty emptying my bladder post surgery, which meant I had to stay around longer for observation, until I finally trickled a little. But still, $25k??? to the hospital for a 4 hour stay? That seems completely insane... Did they give you lunch? Sometimes Jello and apple sauce can add up. Guest guest
sometimes the hospital will charge a very high price, knowing it won't be paid. That way the can deduct the high bill against their profit, and pay less taxes. You as the patient, get your credit ruined. this is the way things work in a for profit system.
