Guest guest
WHile interesting, why is this here on the 4S site? The primary concern is not tinnitus. To add a note, I have never seen, in 10 years, a case of tinnitus caused by earwax pressing on the eardrum. Not one. Your ear canal is a lot longer than you think: up to 1 1/2 inches long! Most of you may have trouble with earplugs pushing earwax in a bit, into the middle of that long tube.........but even if there is a pinhole sized opening, you can hear just fine. Most itching comes from hair growth inside the ear canal, esp men who need to get their ears trimmed. Ok. Nuff about ear wax. Marsha PS I use q tips all the time, just don't stick them in very far......it is hurts you probably hit the wall of the bony part of the canal.........it doesnt like intruders. Course there is always the dummy who pokes it right thru the eardrum when someone hits his elbow so use them alone, safely!
