Hi Jane, I sure do! Pressure on the SI joint used to give me leg spasms big time. That is my main *trigger* point, the others are where scar tissue irritates nerves. I have a great PT trained in Integrative Manual Therapy (http://www.dcrhealth.com) that I see twice a week. She has realigned my sacrum which releases the pressure on the SI joint, and she manipulates the scar tissue away from the nerves. I can now sit for 3 or 4 hours rather than 30 or 40 minutes. I call her " magic fingers " , she can just put her hands above and below muscles with high tone and I can feel them release in a few minutes. My understanding of the cause with TSC patients is that the nerve damage from the tether causes some of the pelvic muscles excess tone, others not enough tone. The muscles have to be working together to keep the sacrum straight. This is true for the legs and feet too. Rick

Your NS will not do anything but refer you to someone else such at a physiatrist who might prescribe physical therapy. A good Chiropractor might be able to help too. I get excellent results from PT, just came home from there. I printed your message for my PT, she might try to contact you, said she might join the group!
