Guest guest
a, My wife has several varieties of mycoplasma, HHV6, chlamydia pneumonia, and a few others. These are diagnoses from blood tests at various times over the past 7 or 8 years, many of them recently reconfirmed. Abx are from her MD, with some prodding from us. He is quite conversant with CFS / ME / MCS. He is also learning Yasko, and sees some merit in it, though I think he feels she may be stretching some of her points. I understand BH4, aka tetrahydrobiopterin, to be an obscure folate. It's not widely available in the US, we get it indirectly from a Swiss pharmacy. The only U.S. source we're currently aware of is Living Well Today, 804-523-7801, livingwelltoday@.... Annoyingly, they insist on a 30 minute phone consult before selling you any. We have heard that some other places, such as compounding pharmacies, are looking into carrying the product. The pills we get are about $4 each and have to be stored in the freezer. It is intimately involved in the production of neurotransmitters and other aspects important to CNS function. It also is used for all three isotypes of nitric ozide synthases (NOS in the urea cycle). It is also the cofactor for another reaction that regulates the lipid composition of cell membranes. There is some evidence that it may also impact the integrity of the walls of gram positive bacteria like strep and staph, giving it some antimicrobial properties. Yasko has a diagram of enzyme pathways that includes the BH4 <==> BH2 cycle here: www.autismanswer.com/pathway_diagrams/diagram_1.pdf There is not a ton of info out there on BH4 yet. The above is what we gleaned from various discussion lists and papers, but alas, I didn't save the citations or URLs. Somewhere we found mention that BH4 may help reduce chemical sensitivity. That hasn't been my wife's experience as yet, but it's early and she is still on a tiny dose. Hopefully the dose can go up as her pathogen load goes down. Best, --Bob pjeanneus wrote: Bob, can you give us a link as to what BH4 is? Also, when did your wife's tendon problems begin? Also, what bacteria has she been tested for? Did Yasko prescribe the antibiotics, or are you doing that along with Yasko's recommendations? Thanks, a Carnes
Guest guest
BArb My post was directed at the state of people's blood resembling curdled milk-just blood cells clumping, coagulating internally, red cell roulette formations.Neat stuff like that. I just wanted rich to understand that trying to study curdled blood isn't WISE. What's your take on it? tony > > > > Rich > > I didn't expect you to miss it. Guest guest
Tony, I'm curious ... what industry did you come from, and what position did you have within it? Cheers, --Bob dumbaussie2000 wrote: Bob BOb BOb Bob BOB You must understand that the reason these ilnesses EVEN EXIST is because people are taught to be trim and proper and go thru pomp and ceremony.MATE I come from an industry where I had to get to the bottom of the problem, NOW!!. I couldn't sit thru pomp and ceremony. I think in a previous post I even explained to a don't go thru the POMP AND CEREMONY STUFF it's just medicine feeding off you.I don't know if anyone looks around at all ILNESSES, but my brother's boy spent 2 YEARS doing the pomp and ceremony crap without any answers.AND THIS IS THE FREAKIN" NORM... There's no fukin person that goes and gets some clear explanation. You have to have diabetes to be given an answer in an afternoon and even then they'll put you on there treadmill. So it may not be a simple disease- but INFLAMMATION OF THE BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD (ME) isn't necessarily a hard disease to try and track either. If your head is half moth eaten by infection (SINUS) you have enough CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO BE ILL, INFLAMMED, SICK, BRAIN DEAD, this sinus infection your often not even aware of is beyond small it's half way into your brain. And remember the other camp that's so not into infections is creating the problem of not being able to put this ilness into it's correct perspective..ESPECIALLY THE THEORIZERS(RICH)... > > > > > > > Then to top it all off we have the glutathione king preaching his > > > > gospel, 'get your red cells checked fopr glutathione', do yammy > > > > yaskos' panel of tests for a grand amount possably totalling 2500 > > > > dollars. How freakin stupid is that. Guest guest
Bob I was self employed for 26 years. We dealt with latest technology electronics in our jukebox, pinball, video game equipment. We used to get technology straight out of japan that would amaze my brother in law who worked at AT & T (NCR DIVISION). You alway's had to come up with strategies to get to the bottom of high technology electronic and mechanical problems, often on a daily basis. You also alway's had to get to the best man for the job on occasion, which amazingly enough fits in with all these medical challenges. > > > > > > > > > > > Then to top it all off we have the glutathione king preaching > > his > > > > > > gospel, 'get your red cells checked fopr glutathione', do > > yammy > > > > > > yaskos' panel of tests for a grand amount possably totalling > > 2500 > > > > > > dollars. How freakin stupid is that. Guest guest
Are you talking about " rouleaux " which is RBCs stacked onto each other like a stack of coins?. My bloods been like that several times in my distant past. Pretty shocking to see. (A wonder I didn't have a clot somewhere if you ask me). No- it's not a good thing- What specifically about it? Guest guest
Barb' Yes I'm talking about rouleaux formations, and the stuff andy wright shows. I'm just trying to say that people should focus primarily on the mess there blood stream is in instead of spending hard earned money on the million and one defaults that come once it's become that mess. I'm trying to say stay away from the CRAP SHOOTERS (RICH, YASKO) and get with the Andy s that show the zoo that makes up your blood stream once it's left your body. It's a rule in life that a stitch in time saves nine. This applies to your testing.Imagine the realisation of having a DIC problem (disseminated intravascular coagulation) which0 is at the heart of INFECTION. YES I " LL REPEAT THAT FOR THE NON BELIEVERS INFECTION!!!!!!!!!!and you can actually have treatment and if it's targeted and delivered correctly RELIEF, no BULLSHIT SMART ASS CRAP that doesn't even understand that ME or autism is an inflammed brain problem, yet classified as some genetic mutation that seems to have increased 10,000 fold in the past 20 years.I'm sorry I may be blunt, but the good guys are still on the number 563rd visit to there local cfs doctor and nothing's changed... > > > > > > > > Rich > > > > I didn't expect you to miss it.
