I think you'll find a wide variety of bowel diseases on these forums. I

have read a couple of people's experiences recently wherby they mention

removal of a foot of intestine.

I wouldn't know what the difference is between IBS (so many variables)

and crohns.

Hi,

There was a little bit of discussion about crohn's last week. If you

read the list on the web

(go here:

infections/)

there is a search function that should be able to turn up those threads.

Hi Phoebe,

I have indeterminate colitis, you know, when they can't distinguish it. It

looks like UC, but it skipped my transverse colon. Anywho, I haven't had KT

everyday as I am still waiting on my brew, but I have had a lot of GT's. I like

the fact that it has probiotics in it. Believe it or not, with my colitis I

actually deal with constipation a lot (that's why I was totally shocked to hear

my colonscopy was " very abnormal " ). I have found that the KT keeps me regular.

It hasn't caused any diarrhea or any such thing. Sometimes I seem to feel a bit

crampy right off, but it's not bad and hasn't caused any real pain.

Sorry, I can't help you with anymore than that. Oh, and my colitis is from

Lyme disease. I don't know if that makes a difference. Kind of weird since my

grandmother had Crohn's, but I didn't test pos. with the genetic tests.
