As for the salivary hormone shops, I've patronized one, back in my bad days. It read out several abnormalities - including a cortisol excess commensurable with the 24h urinary cortisols that docs ordered 3 times during those same months. However, I remember TX Lyme Mom saying she'd sent duplicate samples to different salivary hormone shops, with pretty ugly variation in the results she got back. This was a casual mention, so she didnt report the numeric data, nor her procedures for getting duplicate samples.
