When a patient has two EGHP's is Medicare the third payer after the

patient's and the spouses ins. If this is correct would it matter if the

spouse's insurance became effective after the Medicare became active? Would

Medicare always pay last even if the patient had Medicare then became active

on an EGHP through a new employer and then the spouse became employed and

added the patient to this new EGHP. What would the billing order be?

Please help me. I get a different answer from everyone I ask.
