Reminders for PTManager Members

Congratulations - we are now three months old and have over 400 subscribers

- We really HAVE established an electronic rehabilitation leadership

community. Many of our members are the best and brightest in the industry.

Thanks to all of you who have made this community so successful.

Just a few comments as we move forward:

1. When ever possible - please give references to support your comments

unless you wish them to be interpreted as personal opinion.

2. Always be sure to decide whether you wish to reply to the entire list

(by hitting reply) or to only the author (you will need to cut and paste

your response to only send it to the author). Although many of us (myself

included) have a great need to seem witty or clever, remember that 400

people may not agree.

3. Be sure that anything you put out on the list is suitable for

publication to 400 peers. We have done an excellent job of not getting

crabby or snipey with each other - keep up the good work.

4. Do not be afraid to start a thread of discussion on a topic that

interests you. Starting a thread of discussion is more proactive (and

often more valuable to the list members) while replying is more reactive

(but valuable none the less).

5. Digest version is becoming very popular - I would appreciate any

feedback on how valuable you have found that option if you have chosen it.

Please send your comments on this directly to me rather than boring all the

members with a topic they are probably not interested in.

6. We will continue to severely restrict any advertising on this list to

no more than one message each week from The FOCUS Group (we sponsor

PTManager) - if you find this to be too much - use your delete key.

7. Thanks again - remember to pass on information on PTManager to your peers.
