Dear All,

I spoke to Mimi at Really Raw Honey today. They have a lot of

fermented honey they have to move to make room for the new batch of honey

coming in. They are prepared to give it away!! All you have to do is pay

for shipping. To order some, call 800-REALRAW. Sally

Sally,

I may talk to someone at Really Raw Honey before I get a reply from you,

but--what is " fermented " honey? Is that granulated?

Bonnie,

I just ordered a case of this stuff, and they told me that the honey

was fermented b/c the moisture got too high where it was being

stored. She said that it just has a stronger taste, and is perfectly

good. They only charged me $20 shipping for the case, which included

6 5lb bottles.

I'm so excited--there are lots of recipes I wanted to try but

couldn't because the honey was so expensive (and the recipes called

for large amounts).

Thanks for the notice, Sally!

Fermentation happens in honey when it has a high water content and it is left

in a warm place too long. It is said that the honey is " cured. " Fermented

honey is said to have health benefits, particularly for the digestion. Sally
