Guest guest
Hi Amy, I don't know that there are specific tests to see if the brain is infected. You can have a PCR done of spinal fluid. My son's symptoms were severe pain behind one eye with veritigo and nausea. When he tested positive for borrelia it was assumed it had infected his brain and nerves. I think the spirochetes are known to do this. If you want to get tested for borrelia I suggest using IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA. You should order the western blot IgG and IgM. I think you should have a urine antigen test also. This involves 5 days of an antibiotic that seemed to work for you in the past and 3 urine samples on day 4, 5 and 6. Then if any of these three samples are positive get a reverse western blot on that sample. I wouldn't get a PCR as often the borrelia are not in the blood stream. a Carnes > > > hi, what are the borellia tests for brain infections CFIDS > what lab, test and drs (CA drs great if you know any) > thanks, amy > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get real-time traffic reports with Windows Live Local Search > http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2 & cp=42.336065~- 109.392273 & style=r & lvl=4 & scene=3712634 & trfc=1 >
