Guest guest
Hi Chad, Well, only you could answer if she is mimicking your behavior. Do you fly off the handle about specific noises consistently? I notice that my eight year old son gets angry with his siblings over crunching, but that was not learned behavior from me because the kids don't trigger me with eating and I am extremely self-controlled with the breathing noise triggers. I defer to Marcia's expertise on 4S being hereditary, but I certainly believe that it could be. Take care Joy -------------- Original message -------------- i love knowing im not alone.. im 32 and have had 4s since about age 10. always asking people to please stop chewing their gum, if it doesnt work then im outta there. food is just as bad. now my 8 yr. old daughter is either learned this from me, or mimics me, or she really has the same problem as me?? my ex-wife is not happy, blames me for our daughters fits of anger. which do you think it is??? Guest guest
I guess we really cannot tell at this point. I think I made my sister get annoyed by the noises by making her notice them but now that she is married and has a child she does not have it anymore, at least not like I do! I think the gum still bothers her but she does not commute on the train anymore. (Eating and chewing like a pig should annoy anyone who has any manners!!) Have your wife read some of these stories...so she cannot really be mad at you because you cannot help how you react! I know it is like hitting a wall....I am thinking about divorce, sort of....I do not have any children and I still wonder if my decision had to do with this 4S to begin with. I always thought about how can I sleep without earplugs so that I could hear the baby and so on...Now I am so sad that I made that decision...I love kids, not so much the teenage years but still...I get to babysit my sister's daughter and I love it. I probably will never let her chew gum and tell her it is disgusting. I have noticed a little clicking sound when she eats but at this point I think it is cute and not annoying. Strange thing this 4S!! My husband is getting noisier every day and I am getting turned off BIG TIME!! I wish you all the best!! You are not alone and this is really tough, especially when you have a family! pia > >Reply-To: Soundsensitivity >To: Soundsensitivity >Subject: 4s- kids >Date: Wed, 04 Apr 2007 23:19:14 -0000 > >i love knowing im not alone.. im 32 and have had 4s since about age >10. always asking people to please stop chewing their gum, if it >doesnt work then im outta there. food is just as bad. now my 8 yr. >old daughter is either learned this from me, or mimics me, or she >really has the same problem as me?? my ex-wife is not happy, blames me >for our daughters fits of anger. which do you think it is??? > > > _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE Web site, company branded e-mail and more from Microsoft Office Live! http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/mcrssaub0050001411mrt/direct/01/
