Guest guest
Actually, I have heard of a fairly good study that shows cell phone radiation can cause problems, but it seems to be associated with heavy users. Basically, the radio waves heat your brain. Use it sparingly, or use a headset! nospam.rwp@... wrote: > > > I suspect that the largest cause of EMI is mobile phones, given how much > annoying interference they cause on audio equipment and telephones > handsets, this suggests that they throw out a lot of power and (sub) > harmonics! You've been an annoying zombie all these years.
Guest guest
Hi: Unfortunately, the headsets mostly act as antennas and greatly INCREASE your cranial RF exposure. If you clamp a ferrite on the headset wire or loop the headset wire several loops through a ferrite bead of the proper type (with high attenuation in the 800 MHz to 2 GHz range, then, the headset will reduce your exposure, otherwise the headset in creases the exposure. Refer to the email I sent previously with a link to a catalog page from Digikey with $0.80 per clamp-on ferrite in that same frequency range of attenuation - at the bottom of the page. The Microwaves from cell phones both ionize and heat the brain tissue. There can be local heating in certain cell structures depending on the resonance. Antioxidants also help, especially oil soluble for the cell membranes and nucleotides, etc, where the damage could lead to serious cellular or DNA damage. I have a rat study that I'll share with the group as soon as I can find it that shows potentially significant radiation damage from cell phone frequencies.
