Guest guest
No wonder the 'fight of the century' is starting up here in NY, the Power Authority is trying to get a huge line of electric pylons from Utica to downstate ,we have Senators and so forth trying every means to stop it, many feel that it is a health hazard that will be in some cases within feet of their property. Farmers who had the last one passed through their land state that one can stand underneath and hear the humming of the electric passing through the lines. That line passed through farms and waste land to Binghamton. This thing goes for miles through towns and so on. Now the State is filing suit that would prevent it, the Power Authority showed no alternative plan which is a no no., so hopefully it will stop it.Anne
Guest guest
Lynne, I do completely agree with the consrpiacy, I know it is all around us. I am aware of many, I have had many problems with the school system, and I don't have special needs children, I have heard from others that do that the administration is most difficult to deal with and there are underlying conspriacies. I don't know if it is worse here in the good ol' USA but the concept of Capitolism at All Costs certainly has made it difficult to have the truth come out about products if there is money involved, if the product is not a big money maker, then, it never gets to the public, if it is a big money maker, then it gets to the marketplace, NO MATTER WHAT, and once there, it stays there, NO MATTER WHAT! With the whole mycoplasma thing, I know from reading both the Scammell books and Pat Gangers book that Dr. Brown was definitly black balled. There have been a few posts on RBF by Mc (whom I also correspond with privately) where he tells that his entire family has " supposed auto-immune " issues. It is funny timing as just a week ago, I told my family that we were all going to get tested, and if anything is found, we will all go on the minocin. 's entire family takes the mino. Like 's family, we too all have some of the symptoms of these " auto-immune " problems. I am very interested in the conspiracy to keep the mycoplasma issue and the antibiotic CURE (yes I said it CURE!) away from public view. I have been in contact with Mc and Diane Aronson to get information on how I might volunteer within the RBF to support their mission. I don't want to put my head in the sand, there is so much true opportunity here. Guest guest
When I took chemestry and physics in college recently we did an experiment because someone had a question about this exact problem and free ranging electricity. If you take a long flourescent light bulb, the kind you see in utility fixtures, and hold it straight up and down under one of these things it will glow!!!! saw it with my own eyes, best done at dusk and GET PERMISSION from the farmer first! These are scary things. No one knows what that kind of energy radiation will do to someone. > > No wonder the 'fight of the century' is starting up here in NY, the Power > Authority is trying to get a huge line of electric pylons from Utica to > downstate ,we have Senators and so forth trying every means to stop it, many feel > that it is a health hazard that will be in some cases within feet of their > property. Guest guest
Hi: I'd like to know, what tested empirical information does anyone really have as to which precise electromagnetic frequencies and fields are bad for us, which are good for us and how one could really neutralize bad ones with good ones? Forgive me, but this sounds like smoke, mirrors and electro-spoof parlor tricks. Where is the evidence for anything? Please prove this to me as I fail to see the evidence or a sound theory around this area. Guest guest
Hi: If you want to cheaply protect yourself from the radiation from your cell phone, use an earpiece with an added ferrite bead on the wire to block the RF from passing on to your body. You can get clamp-on ferrites from a number of sources and they are really cheap. I don't know what Caroline is selling, but if it isn't cheap, try an electronic parts supply instead, like <http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T052/0890.pdf>Digi-Key or others. Guest guest
I haven't seen any research on regular house EMF noise but I have seen material on power lines - high voltage transmission - and radar-communication antenna transmitting installations. I also wouldn't want to be too close to a cell phone antenna. In any case, I have toyed with the idea of building a house where any AC power was isolated away from most living quarters and where DC power was used were possible. An energy efficient house of course using alternative energy sources and being able to be off grid. -- Steve - dudescholar2@... Guest guest
Hi: It is possible to do this with present technology. DC appliances exist but are more expensive. DC appliances are used sometimes on boats or RVs. However a DC motor will put out considerable EMI - a great deal more than most AC motors. It is possible and likely that high frequency RFI like from RADAR and cell phones, has some deleterious effects on health, but I am skeptical about 60 Hz, at least at the levels encountered in homes and most businesses, having huge effects. Perhaps under high level 60 Hz power lines where the field is quite intense. Interestingly, most newer high power transmission lines use DC now because there is considerably less line loss. It is converted back to AC at local distribution stations. The development of high-voltage solid state glass-passivated thyristors made this possible. Guest guest
They've spammed many discussion groups, selling gadgets that shield, interfere with, cage, blanket and otherwise nullify your exposure to electromagnetic radiation primarily from cellphones and house wiring. Also low-radiation appliances can be used. Here's a good site for Electosmog reduction material, appliances and further information: http://www.lessemf.com Here's a more scientific site that has research on biological effects of electromagneic radiation (EMR) http://www.emfacts.com/ Note that radiation at household levels increases breast cancer risk, probably by reducing production of melatonin, a powerful antioxidant in your body. Guest guest
I suspect that the largest cause of EMI is mobile phones, given how much annoying interference they cause on audio equipment and telephones handsets, this suggests that they throw out a lot of power and (sub) harmonics! I prefer to keep my company mobile turned off most of the time and use it as little as possible, given that at least one study has shown that mobile phone radiation can warm up tissue (I forget which one). steve wrote: > I haven't seen any research on regular house EMF noise but I have seen > material on power lines - high voltage transmission - and radar-communication > antenna transmitting installations. Guest guest
Hi Lynne, Yep, you sent that electomagnetic conspiracy stuff to me long ago and I typed it in and turned it into a book. I got every word. But when I talk to people about it, they give me this look like I am paranoid. So, I don't push it. It's hard enough dealing with people who don't believe in A/P and I'm so tired of people asking me about my great tan that I got under my umbrella. That's what I tell them. Will the color ever fade? I had to start my nebulizer treatments again. My lungs are not good. Gonna spend more time resting. I feel tired. Take care, Love to all~~~~~~Dodo lynneandsantos <lynneandsantos@...> wrote: Hi Dodo; I think that the Sclero Beyond group is dead and burried....either that or I got kicked off the site because I'm for AP.There is a on this Rheumatic site but not the same one.I have the baby's christening on the 13th but I will get to N.Y. eventually.I still think there is something in this story of electrosmog and I think I sent you the info on it months ago..Lynne G. mike rosner wrote: > Hi kids, Mind if I jump in here for a minute. Guest guest
Hi Dodo; It took forever for the discoloring to leave and it is still not totally gone. All I have to do is think of the sun and I tan....well you saw how dark I am.In the winter things are pretty much back to normal except for my upper lip, ankles and my calves. The greenhouse has UV treated plastic to protect the plants but my face and hands still get dark.I thought it was the mino that made it worse but even at the low dose of 100mg every other day I still get dark.TRhe only way for me to whiten up is to stay totally inside the house.Gee,Dr.Marshall might have something there. hehehe.Rest is " THE " best medecine. What all have you got in that book? Guest guest
Hi Lynn; Discoloratione and patches of very dark skin are part of the dosease. If you are on mino you cannot go in the sun without getting very dark and splotchy. If you have SD or Lupus you are told not to go in the sun at all.If you have a vitamin D handling problem you should even avoid bright indoor light according to Dr.Marshall and for me that sure was the case as my 1,24/25 was 3 times too high and causing osteoporosis.I managed to get is down to 2 times too high but it took almost a year of no bright light at all.Only after getting the D down could I get off methotrexate without any problem. This summer I admit I was in way too much light and things gor much worse than they were in the early spring. Guest guest
Just a little addition to this... I did not burn and I really did not get tan. What I did get are sun spots on my face that will not go away with anything OTC or prescription. I also cannot use self tanners because there are MANY spots that come out when I use a self tanner and I have them all over my face and looks soooo bad. BUT I will continue the Minocin no matter what! cooky Re: rheumatic Electrosmog Hi Lynn; Discoloratione and patches of very dark skin are part of the dosease. Guest guest
I may read that because it does look interesting, but the only reference to a animal study is: In a soon to be published follow up study by Dr. Henry Lai and Dr. Narendra Singh, who earlier found single and double strand DNA breaks in rats exposed to low level radiofrequency radiation (RFR) after a single two hour exposure, the treatment of either melatonin or a free radical scavenger (PBN) to the exposed rats immediately before and after RFR exposure prevented the DNA damage. (13) Where the citation is: (13) E-mail abstract of paper by Henry Lai, (in press) Bioelectro-magnetics. Not exactly encouraging... Besides which, if 50-60hz electric fields caused breast cancer, then we should have seen a rise in the general population... We've had alternating current on a wide scale for about a hundred years now... You've been an annoying zombie all these years.
