Perhaps the salt has thrown your potassium/magnesium balance out of whack? But I have no real idea. I am, not dead, yet...If I did not say, I mean't to say that I had a " heart-failure-like " experience last October, 2005...look at Rich's explanation on the CFSExperimental - to sunscaper53in the last few weeks.. The salt, in a CFSME that is 34 years into CFS, maybe 51 years can interact to produce the above..so I do want to warn others that this can happen..but I was brought back to see if there will be an answer for CFS/ME I was not on anything, else, except Nutraceuticals and Salt... Just so you know, I was a MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST, and I have been cleared of all psychological problems...I AM JUST ONE OF YOU!!! I think the salt c may sound bad for your heart disease-BUT... the strange type of dehydration, come low blood volume many of us suffer, may be more the trigger behind the heart problems in the first place...So blaming the salt C may not actually be right, or beneficial. It's also fascinating how you developed your ilness whilst possably working as a mental health therapist? On this forum we tie in the mental health aspects of disease with the inflammation and infection angle. Cheney is so out of touch with reality and I'm afraid so is richy on experimental.They all try and push and shove some freakin genetic predisposition into your line of thinking.. Well I'm very pissed with there logic, when you had 1 in 100,000 kids turning up with autism, now you have something closer to 1 in 160 kids something sucks with the crap they are trying to put across to me.I feel inflammation fueled ilnesses need to look closer at what the pharmaceutical companies are feeding us, and being the highest users of antibiotics in the world in the usa, aus, and england, we are the ones carrying some freakin rediculous ammounts of allergy/inflammation fueled problems.And all this stems from the one size fits all approach shoved down our throats when we need therapies. Prescribing them haphazardly without identifying which organism they're treating, etc. Our food supply is rampant with antibiotics as well. Our health care system has done this to our society as a whole, not the other way around. A heart infection could be caused by all kinds of bugs. It's been proven that oral bacteria can damage the heart.
