can viruses cause sinusitis? what about polyps?

Hi,

All of this talk about bacteria and fungus. Can a virus cause chronic

sinusitis? For example, if you get a cold virus, can that cause this?

What about all of these polyps I have now. Can you get rid of those

without surgery? Are they going to come back again?
