__THis is actually a pretty good response to using Self Stimulation or

Self-Masking for auditory sensitivity issues. You can also use

humming, singing, nose-breathing with whooshing sounds, and other self-

stimulation tactics to help endure the incoming signals.

If you do make these sounds around others, won't they REALLY think you are

crazy.

I know sometimes when I am eating with someone making really loud sounds, I will

make such terrible sounds eating, that I don't know how they can keep from

yelling at me. They don't even notice. I try to do the loud noise sounds, to

see if it makes the food taste better to me. Since I can't smell, and this

effects taste, I think maybe it will help the food taste better(it don't), but I

just don't get why they have to do it??? It is like they make these noises just

to savour the taste. They will roll the food around and around in thier mouth,

making smacking sounds. Who knows???
