Answered the question I had on prebiotics. http://www.customprobiotics.com/about_probiotics_a.htm Interestingly - I have read opinions that state that slight cases of sallmonea are actually beneficial to the health of the intestines- I know I had a severe case about 5 years ago (picked up in Mexico, and I shed my intestinal lining) and it took about 5to 8 months to naturally repopulated my intestinal bacteria (ate small amounts, and introduced news foods slowly) but my newly populated intestinal track worked much better than it had pre-sallmonela.
