Guest guest
From Amy's earlier post: Then they said to me that the only symptom likely to be helped by surgery was headache. Now my headaches are not agonising by any means and I suffer more from a feeling of squeezing, pressure and heaviness rather than pain. I also however suffer from dizziness, tachycardia, low bp, shortness of breath, chronic fatigue etc - and they said those symptoms would not be helped by surgery. With dizziness they said " unlikely " and with the fatigue etc they said a flat out " no " . In regards to the above paragraph, I feel that many of my Chiari symptoms were alleviated by surgery. It may be that the neurosurgeons cannot guarantee what symptoms will disappear and which will not. I really don't want to think about all the horrible symptoms I used to have.
