Sad that the politicos have decided to balance the budget on the backs of patients and providers to the detriment of their quality of life. Guest guest
I have just received a letter from the Visiting Nurse Association of Central NJ (for which I worked till recently) about the same matter. Tey too advocate contacting your senator and representative. However, they cite the bill as S-1993 (for senators) and HR-3567 for the house of representatives. Why the difference (your letter cites bill HR 3835). I have attached the model letter they suggest sneding to those who have co-sponsored the HR-3567 or S-1993. I'd like to learn more about this new bill. Thank you! Murray-, PT

Guest guest
According to the Federal Register, the bill you cite is: H. R. 3567 To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for equitable payments to home health agencies under the Medicare Program. It sounds from the first reading like it is similar to HR 3835 except it applies to home care. Any one else have information on this?
