About Our Speakers:

Kovacek, MSA, PT, is the President of KovacekManagement Services Inc.

and a Principal in The FOCUS Group Inc.--both national companies that

specialize in management consulting for Rehabilitation Services. is

currently Vice President of the Acute Care/Hospital Clinical

Practice Section and President-elect of the Section on Administration of

APTA. He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for PT Magazine

and a columnist for Advance magazine. In addition to being an author of

numerous books and articles, has done extensive lecturing

throughout the country on managing in a managed care environment and

productivity in PT.

Brower, Esq., is a member of the Health Law Department of the law

firm Richmond, Hochron & Burns, North Brunswick, NJ. She is general

counsel to the aptanj. ’s emphasis is on representing individual

and corporate health care providers in all substantive areas. She has

represented health care providers in all aspects of corporate and

litigation matters, licensure problems and regulatory issues, and is a

frequent lecturer on health related topics, employment law and contract

issues.
