Guest guest
No because an antihistamine like the pharmaceutical benardryl and the bioflavanoid combination of Quercetin and Bromelain actually breaks down the active form of histamine after it is realeased. DMSO is simply releasing it from the Mast Cells where it is stored in the skin. My asthma cleared up btw, after treating myself for a lung infection when I had the Fujian Flu 3 or 4 years ago. I used DMSO and Colloidal Silver four times an hour for a few hours then every two hours and finally just twice a day. Took about five days to kick the lung infection. I had no more asthma symptoms so I tend to believe there is something to the idea of at least some cases of asthma being caused by mycoplasma, a microbe that lives in the mucous in the lung and hides there from medication. DMSO delivers the CS through this mucous and has some antinflammatory benefit as well. MSM added to the mix can aid in restoring elasticity to the alveolie as in Emphysema. Cold air can trigger asthma. So can the dry dusty air from winter heaters, particularly when the first few days they are run after being out of use for the summer. It is an excellent reference, packed with info on DMSO use and studies. A great value at under $11. > Garnet ### > ______________________________ > > Hi Garnet, does this mean that it is working like an anti-histamine? I'm confused. I have noticed that my asthma has been kicking up a bit lately. I blamed it on the winter weather. Too many histamines are what causes asthma or allergy attacks so I would assume that if DMSO is depleting histamines that it is working like an anti-histamine. Is this correct??? > > Love and laughter, > Micki >
Guest guest
How did you apply the DMSO & CS? Or did you take it orally? What were your ratios?
