Guest guest
Could be, I don't know, but it's something to look into. I know that after a while, our body will sometimes just outgrow allergies. I also had a doc tell me that people who move often tend not to develop local allergies for a couple of years. That's kind of interesting. I'm not sure about allergens, but I think there may be something with the Th1/Th2 shift thing as far as pwc and viruses. But it all seems pretty complicated. I do know that a large number of us pwc used to get viruses regularly, but after coming down with hard core CFS, stopped contracting viruses altogether. penny Per Sjoholm <pts2grps@...> wrote: I have always been allergic and used antihistamin(diparalene) daily until around 1993. Guest guest
Per, at my sickest, I used to think I never had allergies. I never reacted to anything like others do. One of my odder symptoms to me was that I NEVER sneezed, I mean never, for years, and years. There just seemed to be no need. My nose never ran, nothing. The only symptom that I had would be my eyes burning, not itching, like most allergy suffers complain about, just burning. They watered really bad too. This was explained away as dry eyes. During this time, I NEVER got sick either. People would drop like flies around me, and I would get nothing.......UNTIL, I started getting well, or feeling more normal, well, I think it is what the normals feel. I actually sneeze now!!! I guess it shoulld be a good sign, but I am not so sure I like it, because it causes other things to happen that are likely due to my age bracket. You're probably going, huuuuh? Never mind. Anyways, I also get sick now. Not overly sick, but I will actually get whatever else is going around. I actually got the stomach flu this last winter. First time I have payed hommage to the toilet in probably 17 years. I don't think that was normal. Not throwing up is nice, but I guess it is small price to pay, in order to feel good all of the time. I think there is something to the Th1/Th2 issue. My doc explained it to me once like this, probably rather simplistic, but it makes sense. He simply said that my immune system is on such high alert looking for this other enemy that whenever your average bacteria or virus comes along, it doesn't stand a chance. It makes sense, since I am feeling better and normal bugs, seem to get a normal reaction out of me these days. > > I have always been allergic and used antihistamin(diparalene) daily > until around 1993. Guest guest
Sneeze reflex and vomit reflex are an important first line of defence in ilness. I feel the lack therof may be a contributor to our ilnesses. > > > > I have always been allergic and used antihistamin(diparalene) > daily > > until around 1993. Guest guest
Hmmm, something to think about. Since my baloon sinublasty and suctioning out of all that pus and hardened mucous, I sneeze a lot! My ENT says the procedure shouldn't have made me suddenly susceptible to allergies, and I don't have any other allergy symptoms, so all I can figure is that my sinuses are sensitive again and exposure to stuff is causing me to sneeze?. penny dumbaussie2000 <dumbaussie2000@...> wrote: Sneeze reflex and vomit reflex are an important first line of defence in ilness. Guest guest
The allergy reaction, eyes, intich nose, sneezing, sore mouth seems to be related to when I 'do much'. I did much during this weeked and got the allergy sx today, been sleeping for better part of the day I'm recovering Reaktion to grass is on of the allergy sx. One reason for resting is that my lowerback is hurting and that is also recovering. During the last week I had to use Citodon (AstraZeneca) (codeine phosphate 25mg, paracetamol <http://codeine.50g.com/other/paracetamol.html> 500mg) to calm the system down. Codeine has system calming part. No reaction on paracetamol alone. /Per Per Sjoholm wrote: >I have always been allergic and used antihistamin(diparalene) daily >until around 1993. Guest guest
The rise of allergic reactions is increasing exponentially as is autism ..Auto immune disease is rampant Chronic fatigue is now the no 1 cause of long term absence in uk school kids ...The docs haven't a clue as to why or what is happening....What they don't understand they ignore...They ignore yeast , as they ignore the role of gut flora ..As per my web site the rise in autism ,lyme, yeast, CFS, allergic conditions are not curious coincidences they are all linked.. I have been taking Cimetidine for my allergic reaction to my [stealth] pathogens ,but unfortunately I think the drug or rather the condition in the gut the drug creates is diminishing my ability to absorb antibiotics ...so i've stopped taking the drug for now .. -----Original Message-----From: infections [mailto:infections ]On Behalf Of Per SjoholmSent: 25 June 2006 21:46infections Subject: [infections] missing(NOT) allergy reactions I have always been allergic and used antihistamin(diparalene) daily until around 1993. Guest guest
I have also found narcotics to calm allergic type reactions. After my sinus surgery, the only thing that relieved the ultra sensitive nose, watering eyes, itchiness and violent sneezing that I developed was Tramadol. Doesn't knock you out like Codeine. penny Per Sjoholm <pts2grps@...> wrote: The allergy reaction, eyes, intich nose, sneezing, sore mouth seems to be related to when I 'do much'.I did much during this weeked and got the allergy sx today, been sleeping for better part of the day I'm recoveringReaktion to grass is on of the allergy sx.
