Guest guest
Some time ago, I was given two bottles of DMSO. The bottles are clear, have no useful label information other than a date of 1996. Each bottle was half crystallized. I brought them home, placed them on a shelf in my pantry, reasonably temperature controlled, and bingo, later they were both 100 percent liquid. ( usually 76 to 79 def F ) Does pressure, temperature, impurities, or whatever cause this to happen? I suspect this DMSO is in fact much older than the date. The original owner has been deceased for about 10 years. His widow gave it to me. She was going to toss it in the trash, but I asked her not to do that. If anyone would like to evaluate or test this old DMSO, I would be pleased to send you a few ounces. The smell suggest that this is in fact DMSO, not some other material.
