Guest guest
I'd be interested in what the difference between the aid/PTA would be and their responsibilities and what they are accountable for. I'm an an Allied Health Admissions Rep in which I counsel prospective PTA's. Guest guest
, Your experience is the same as ours. We have a great, hardworking dedicated staff. Acute care is different than OP or Rehab. The productivity issues need to take into account the setting. Between covering 9 floors, SICU, MICU, ortho, neuro etc.....pt acuity being variable, scheduling in coordination with other tests and then the ongoing need to work with residents, medical students, families etc.....I feel that we are " efficient " ...we also had " efficiency experts " roll through our hospital....we are still recovering. I appreciate the input from this source. The information has been hard to find. Moira > Re: efficiency > > > >You stated that you expect 25-26 units per PT or PTA.
