a,

Interesting that you mentioned fluoride and quinolones. You would

be very interested, I'm sure, in ordering a CD or tape ($5.95)from

Healthy by Nature radio show (The Word, Christian radio, FM 100.7)of

a program by a Dr. Kennedy, Dental expert, and now doing public

service work in an organization (the program was a week or two

ago). I can't remember the web site where you can read this

information, but will listen to the tape I recorded and can post

this info if anyone is interested. The primary focus of the program

was the big scam on America and other places using the waste

products from the atomic bomb project (fluoride) as a positive thing

for our water supply for dental health. Many enlightened countries

have forbidden this. Studies have shown many problems (not helps)

from the fluoride being in our water. I'll bet Dr. Kennedy could

help you with the quinolone question.

BG, I was at a biotech conf in Toronto about 3 weeks ago. One company is

developing a treatment to prevent tooth decay. The bottom line was BACTERIA

causes tooth decay. Florides do nothing to prevent it. Brushing teeth does

nothing to prevent it. Children catch it from their mothers. Sugar feeds it. On

a side note since I have been on Shoemaker's 3 antibiotics for the coag negative

staph colonization/biofilm my teeth have never been cleaner - I actually could

go for days and never brush them and never know the difference. The only bad

thing is the rifampin is turning them yellow. Wasn't this a fascinating post????

I think that combo might be very hard to handle. Both major abx. with a

punch.

What I would say if you do cipro then make it 6 week cycles min.

Where's Barb? We haven't heard from her for a while. She's always good on the drug combinations. You can also go to the links and put the drugs in one of the links for drug interactions or Flockhart's p450 table. penny <usenethod@...> wrote: I'm interested in maybe combining quinolones with nitroimidazoles, as DNA damage is probably an important mechanism of the latter, and I hear DNA gyrase is needed for the SOS polymerase to scan the chromosome for DNA damage. I think flagyl /cipro is a very popular combo I just can't recall

for what though.

PAula

If you bought the cardiovascular disease part of our ilness, you

wouldn't jump up and down promoting 2 drugs that are NOT A CHOICE

FOR CARDIO ILNESSES.zithro and mino are both bacteriostatic agents

and heart issues are often only dealt with bacteriacidal agents. The

other thing that I wouldn't ever bother treating or getting

diagnosed is babesia- yuou've read enough people's experiences

trying to deal with this long term and they are all failures in my

reading's- why you'd bring it up or want to treat is is barking up

the wrong tree IMO- I really come to this conclusion cause wherever

anyone attempted this- NO REAL GOOD COME OUT OF IT.Also PAul has

done some heavy therapy aimed at another topic I won't go into and

had he got a taste for real bacteria and there treatment over a

couple of days- he may have seen the light.
