There is an implant that some people have placed surgically. I see this come up on my CP lists a lot. Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 Yes, and the GI tract is sometimes called the Enteric Nervous System, again because it is so complex and not necessarily dependent upon the brain...it actually sends more messages TO the brain than it receives.
